Ever had that Déjà vu feeling?

The moment I stepped into the Aston Web Great Hall I had it. And I knew instantly where it reminded me of - Ulster Hall in Belfast, venue for the Women's World Open last November.

The outside setting is different, here we're in the middle of a University campus surrounded by tranquillity and greenery, while in Belfast it was in the centre of a thriving city. But internally there is so much similarity - the basic shape, the second level, the features and windows behind the front wall.

It's early days yet, play doesn't start here until Friday evening, but by then this place will be looking magnificent - no wonder Jonny Harford, an ex-student, was so keen to be able to play squash in the venue where he took his finals.
